Hence, it's logical to consider a Y-shape design to overcome this limitation. The OEM 996 throttle body, with a 68mm internal diameter, has shown to be a bottleneck when operating at power levels above 700hp. Consequently, our performance plenum is designed to work in tandem with the 997.1 throttle body, which at 74mm is much better suited for higher power levels. Please note that the 997.1 throttle body is not included in this kit and must be purchased separately (OEM part number 99760511500).
