Both the 981 GT4 and 718 GT4 feature adjustable front camber angles but the range of adjustment is limited due to the central (concentric) mounting point of the OEM top mount to the chassis. Maximum achievable camber is approximately -2.4 degrees (depending on ride height) which is insufficient for fast road and track driving, especially if you are using a very grippy tyre.

This camber angle can be increased in a variety of ways, including by fitting camber shims in the front control arms. The issue with fitting shims is that the front wheels are pulled forwards in the front wheel arches as the shims are fitted. This causes the leading edge of the tyre to collide with the front wheel arch liners when steering lock is applied.
